ITIC LIVE (Learning Integrated Vocational Experience) takes a holistic approach to your career path development, by combining our technology certification training programs with our Work Integrated Learning (WIL) internship programs.
Our mission at ITIC is to help students build a pathway between the university and full-time work. We run direct and university sponsored programs to provide students with IT Job Ready training and work experience in Cybersecurity, Data Science, Networking, and Software Development.

How does ITIC LIVE work?
ITIC LIVE is a 13-week program, which includes pre-placement training, followed by work experience with our industry partners including Dragonfly Technologies, Westcon Comstor, Netstrategy, BrewAI, dAIta, AIP Research Centre, Intuitive Technology Innovations, Cyber Security Defence, and ITIC Systems. Programs from different disciplines can be combined (e.g. software plus data science), to provide a longer LIVE experience if required, making it possible to complete either a 3 months or 6 months program with us.
How is the ITIC LIVE program delivered?
ITIC LIVE programs can be delivered on-premise, online remotely or a combination of both.

Our focus for the program is based on the needs of both the student and industry. For our industry partners, they can customise the pre-internship component which helps to remove the host company’s need to deliver basic operational readiness training.

For the students, we focus on key technical skills, soft skills and host company awareness/operational readiness, to maximize the work opportunities by minimizing or removing the time wasted during the company onboarding process. Students will gain additional skills and work experience to help stand out in the crowd of new graduates.
Our LIVE program also includes opportunities to work with our leading university partners on our joint research projects. This provides you with a unique opportunity to get involved in interesting projects specifically in the areas of AI, Machine Learning and Software. ITIC LIVE Work Integrated Learning (WIL) internship programs are available in streams including Security, Software Development, IT Helpdesk, and Data Science.

ITIC LIVE - Targeted Program
This is the fast track program with a scholarship for training and a paid contractor role with our industry partner on upcoming projects (upon industry partner acceptance). Applicants that meet eligibility criteria will go through a competitive process with Interviews and Selection.
ITIC LIVE - open Program
Guaranteed acceptance to our WIL (Work Integrated Learning) program, with a prerequisite to enroll for pre-placement training, completed in the first 4 weeks of the WIL program. Students are responsible for fees associated with the education and training needs in WIL Open programs.
Selection Procedures
Students who are interested in the WIL Targeted/Open Program should express their interest by emailing their CVs to jobs@itic.com.au. Students who meet the selection criteria will be added to a list of potential internship candidates. Interviews will be scheduled with internship candidates. Following the interviews, ITIC will decide which internship candidates will be selected for the Targeted or Open program and assign interns to their trainers/mentors.
