Join Our Research Projects

Email to email@itic.com.au to find out more about joining one of our research programs below.

Macquarie University Research Project - ITIC has provided a $220k research grant for the project entitled: “Intelligence-led Teaching and Learning”

The anticipated outcome for this project includes:

·      Significant scientific advancement in understanding the practical problems of Cognitive Technology and its roles in teaching and learning;

·      A generic and unified framework and models for intelligent analysis of the students’ performance;

·      Innovative, fine-grained and intuitive analytical services for analysing students’ and teachers’ performance, constructing narratives on their achievements and defeats, and provide cognitive assistances to students and teachers: to assist them in decision making and choosing the next steps

This project will provide practical work experience opportunities at ITIC for university students studying the fields of AI, Machine Learning and Data Science.

University of NSW Research Project - ITIC has offered $60k in-kind support for the research project entitled: “Novel Enabling Function for Distributed Virtual Power Plants”.

ITIC recognises the increasing importance of Virtual Power Plant (VPP) technologies where the backbone needs reliable ICT infrastructure and support. ITIC has been working with UNSW and other partners in exploring IT and cloud platforms for energy management systems, as part of this initiative.

ITIC envisage that future energy systems will rely on technologies such as VPP, which plays key role in demand side management and grid support for network service providers.
